Who am I? Why Xerath?

Hi, my name is Diego im from Mexico, im 21 years old and my nickname is GaMeOveR.

I played League of Legends since S11 and i im platinum 2. I know that im not the best Xerath player in the world but even though I don't play often, my knowledge of Xerath has brought me close to diamond in 2 seasons and im sure ill hit it. So lets begin (Sorry for my english)

Xerath is for me the best mage to carry in League of Legends because has a lot of damage if you hit all your abilities and you can poke your enemies so easy.

Ill divide the advantages in three stages of the game:

• Early Game:
  • Advantages:
    • You can deal a lot of poke (Even more vs melee champions)
    • You have so much sustain (Xerath's passive + Doran's ring)
    • Nice waveclear
    • You can farm save.
  • Disdavantages:
    • You can die easily
• Mid Game:
  • Advantages:
    • Explosive damage
    • You can delete the ADC and MID with a E+Q+W combo or just R
    • If you did it well you should have good farm and even some kills
    • The best stage of a Xerath feed.
  • Diasdvantages:
    • You can die easily
• Late Game:
  • Advantages:
    • You can delete the ADC and MID with a E+Q+W combo or just R
    • You can deal more damage than the whole enemy team.
  • Disadvantages:
    • You can die easily.

As you can see, the only problem when you are playing Xerath is that he dies very easily, but I'll show you how not to die while dealing a lot of damage.

Best Runes

Xerath can play with Arcane Comet or Dark Harvest, the only difference is: Tanks or Scuishi champions. For example the enemy team have the next compo:

• TOP: Teemo
• JG: Graves
• MID: Ahri
• ADC: Jinx
• SUP: Soraka

You can choose dark harvest becase the enemy team is so scuishi.But when you are playing vs an enemy team like this:

• TOP: Yorick
• JG: Vi
• MID: Yasuo
• ADC: Jhin
• SUP: Tresh

You can choose Arcane comet because you can poke Yasuo in phase lanes and they have 2 tanks, so you will not stack Dark Harvest so much.

In 99% of cases you will use arcane comet.

Summoner Spell

You will use Barrier in 99% fo the games but cleanse is good versus some champs, for example:

• Twisted Fate (He can ult you while youre ulting)
• Evelyn (His W)
• Leona (E,Q,R)
• Hecarim (R)

Barrier is the best summoner for Xerath because you can bait your enemies under thower, when they think you will ide, you can use barrier and do E+W+Q, or just E, depends from the situation.

Skill Path

You will max your Q, then your W and finally your E.

Item Builds

The build for Xerath will be the next.Dont be scared if you see a Mejai, as i told you, i will teach you how play and you will not die.But if youre diying a lot, you can choose the option 2 item set.

How to farm with Xerath

Doran's Ring: When you have 1 item, you will farm With 1 Q + W + Q on the casters minions, thats all.

Doran's Ring + Mejai: 1 Q + W on casters.

Lost Chapter + Doran´s Ring + Mejai: Q on Casters, W on melle an thats all

The Rest of the game: Just Q and W on melee (You will get a lot of farm/
