Talon jungle guide S12
Intro
Hi i'm not a challenger talon player (but still a talon jungle main) but i just wanted to create a talon jungle guide better than the other one on this platform cause it sucks :)
Talon is a strong jungler, easy to play but hard to master as a jungler.
Pros : lot of mobility so a lot of presence on the map, big dmg, high capacity to steal objectives (jump, R), fun to play !
Cons : no CC, vulnerable.
Runes (Loadout)
For the runes you have 3 possibilities, you can go conqueror, first strike or electrocute.
Conqueror is good when u'll have to play against bruisers/tanks/good peelers
First strike will be good overall cause it adds some dmg and give a lot of gold as the game goes. Don't be affraid to use future market as much as you can because as an assassin, Talon scales well with items and snowball.
Electrocute will be a good choice when u face a lot of squichies and want a very strong early game that you can snowball
My personnal favorite is conqueror because it synergies well with the build and will be efficient most of the time cause you have no difficulties to proc it.

Summoner Spells (Loadout)
As a beginner feel free to take flash/smite, but the most efficient is ignite/smite because it cuts healing from ennemy, it gives some dmg that can make the difference early on, and as you go cosmic insight you will use it a lot. If you'r a beginner with the champ, don't be afraid to use ignite when the ennemy escape if he is kinda low hp and you did proc the passive, combo of these 2 dots are surprising !

This is why i made this guide lol, level W first. In fact, the main point of talon jungle is his W dealing 130% dmg to monsters !
More seriously, you will start W, then Q, then ! decide if you will have some plays after your 3 first camps. If yes take E, if not, take W level 2 so you will clear faster and be more healthy at the end of your full clear.
Remember that the Q is an auto reset and and auto will go just after the cast, you can do auto Q auto in a second (keep that in mind it can make the difference)
Pathing starting red (kite to the next camp as much as you can) : Red > Krugs (Smite the big one) > Raptors > Wolf > Blue > Gromp (you can smite if you wanna be healthy or keep it for scuttle)
Pathing starting blue : Blue > Gromp (smite) > Wolf > Raptors > Red > Krugs (once again, smite or not)

Red smite : good for dueling, make an other dot, reduce dmg takenby the target : good
Youmuu : lethality, high mobility, cdr : good
Lucidity boots : CDR (yuumu, eclipse, ignite, smite) : very good
Eclipse : Easy to proc, shield gives survivability, 6% max health target dmg, omnivamp, %armor pen : very good
THERE YOU CHOOSE WICH ONE FIRST :
Lot of armor ? then Black Cleaver first
Lot of squishies ? Serylda first
These are the core items. Cleaver is underrated on talon way too much. It's so power full, health, cdr, dmg, armor shred : way too good. Serylda : slow armor pen, haste, lethality : good.
The last item depend and it can be 3rd or 4th item. For example, if you play against yone top sheldbow, ivern jungle, yasuo mid shieldbow, draven shieldbow, janna support, then go serpent fang 3rd.
You have choice between : Serpent Fang (anti shield), Chempunk Chainsword (anti heal), GA (survivability), QSS (to counter heavy cc), if you don't need one of these, go collector to be able to kill ppl that survive your full combo.

Talon has some "annoying matchups" like rammus, lee sin... Personnaly, i prefer ban 1v9 champs on midlane/toplane/support depending on the meta !
