Welcome to my guide. My name is spirit0G and I literally suck at League! I haven't even played the game for a year yet, and my peak is like Bronze 1. Anyways, I've been playing Lucian top for a bit and there were no guides, so I'll share some information regarding him.

How to play

Early Game

Early game is very self explanatory. Depending on opponent, I always start a long sword and a refillable. If you are going against a squishier opponent, hit level 2 or 3 and all in. Press the attack will allow for a very easy kill. I try to Auto > Q > Double Auto > Dash > Double Auto > Ignite somewhere in there. This combo will allow for a large damage output and will almost guarantee a kill. If you're going against a tank, focus on chipping them down so that level 2 or 3 you can also all in. If you can't, don't bother all inning and focus farm.

By level 6, you should hopefully have the opponent chipped down. Whenever you get an open shot, do a little combo to get them low and then ult. If their flash is down and they don't have any dashes, you are almost guaranteed a kill.

Mid Game

Post level 6 really depends on how the game is going. If you are up 3+ kills on your opponent, try and roam. Help your other laners. Getting your teammates a lead in lanes will almost always guarantee a win. Keep farming, keep fighting, just scale.

End Game

End Game is a bit more difficult. As team fights will be happening more, you need to sit backline and wait for teammate engage. Lucian's carry potential is there, you just need to play right. If you're caught lacking and get jumped on by 2+ people, you'll die, and give the other team a lead. Focus their squishes in team fights if possible and then kill tanks after. Lucian has a good bit of mobility with his dash and galeforce, so kiting tanks and killing them at the end of fights will be easy.

Matchups

Honestly, as far as matchups go, it's really up in the air. It's pretty dependant on how you play it. I don't remember any significant matchups that are harder than others, just play smart.
