Why play Shaco?

Pros/Cons of Shaco
Pro's
- very strong early game
- easy ganks
- can one shot squishy champs (AD)
- easy solo drag
- versitile (can be played all over/can play AD and AP)
- tilt factor
Cons
- high skill gap (hard to learn)
- very squishy
- if cc'd you are basically dead
- invades ruin your game
- item reliant
- hard to manage clone

AD Jungle
Primary Runes
- When playing AD Shaco Jungle we want to go with . As an assassin jungler we want to burst down the squishy champs in the backline as quickly as possible so this is a perfect suit.Hail of Blades

- is a great pick because when Shaco hits an enemy champion coming out ofSudden Impact(Q) he will do more damage because he is leaving stealth.
Deceive
- is an important pick because it adds attack damage when completed at 10 eyeballs.Eyeball Collection
- is important because it adds movement speed. This will allow you to run around the jungle and gank quicker.Relentless Hunter
Secondary Runes
- is a great choice because it adds attack speed and a lot of it!Legend: Alacrity
- I like to go with because if an enemy champ is running away/squishy enough, Shaco will be able to one hit and paired withCoup de Grace, you will be able to escape unharmed because of its passive.Duskblade of Draktharr
AP Jungle
Primary Runes
- is the go to rune for AP Shaco Jungle. It increases AP damage over time every time you hit a champ that is below 50%.Dark Harvest

AP Shaco support is very similar rune wise as AP Mid/Top so I will only touch on the different runes
AP Support
- Like I explained in AP Mid/Top is a valid choice. For support it can be very beneficial to buy items quicker to benefit the rest of the team.Future's Market

- Our starter options go as follows: either choose to move through bushes quicker,Gustwalker Hatchlingto slow enemies, orScorchclaw Pupto gain a shield and survive longer.Mosstomper Seedlingis meta at the moment so thats probably your best choice. - First recall is best case scenario. Build every time and if you cannot getBootson the first go around buildSerrated Dirkto substitute.Long Swordis not necessary, buy them if you need them.Refillable Potion
Our spells are typical Shaco spells. We have

- 99 out of 100 games you will probably be building . The passive is great to gain invisibility and it has good stats. However if you feel adventurous you can buy eitherDuskblade of DraktharrorEclipse. WithKraken Slayeryou will gain a shield and do more damage. WithEclipseyou will be dealing immense amounts of damage but do not have any security like the other two choices.Kraken Slayer

- The same case is with . 99/100 games you will be buildingBootshowever, withBerserker's Greavesyou gain more ability haste. WithIonian Boots of LucidityandPlated Steelcapsyou can build those if the enemy team is either full AD or full AP. Not recommended because you will deal less damage but it is still an option.Mercury's Treads
- The rest of the build is pretty typical, this is a one shot AD Shaco build so you will be dealing a lot of damage quickly but you are very squishy.
AP Jungle
- See AD Jungle for explanation on starting options and spells. Same rules apply.
- First recall is best case scenario. If you do not have enough for the full first recall buy andBootswith aSapphire Crystal(if possible).Amplifying Tomeis not necessary, buy them if you need them.Refillable Potion
- 99/100 games you will either buy orIonian Boots of Lucidity. BuySorcerer's Shoesif you are equal or behind the enemy jungler. If you are very far ahead then you can consider buyingIonian Boots of Lucidity. I do not recommendSorcerer's ShoesorPlated Steelcapsbut they are an option if you see it fit.Mercury's Treads
