New Jungle Jayce Build Guide
So, I'm not even going to bother to ask why you want to play Jayce, we all know why we're here, we wann play our League of Legends Ironman.
First things first though, how are we going to do this? Well I for one say that we should go the assassin route, keep our cooldowns low, our health low, our armor lower, and our damage high and movement higher.
However, EVEN BEFORE THAT- we need to deal with one huge problem, early game weakness, you will both need to take a weird starting jungle route and/or hope you get a leash at start.
Our route here is, Red Buff, Raptors, Wolves, skip to scuttlebug and take time to set-up a ward, take out scuttlebug for HP, return to Froggo and then take Blue Buff and head to play Jungle as you normally would. While taking your route to be sure to excercise caution and to make sure to do the best dps you can and to use smite as soon as it's off cooldown.
The damage rotation here is slightly odd, but something you'll need to master for taking out jungle monsters, start in Cannon and land an auto, followed by Q, swap to Hammer, land Q and W, Auto, then finally swing an E, but make sure you're not at the wrong angle to accidentally knock monsters through a wall and to break aggro, then when you can, swap back to Cannon, land auto, use W, then Q, then swap back to Hammer, after here you can just sort of wing it and it'll be okay, just hit your buttons and swap after hitting them and make sure to land at least one auto before swapping.
Our damage rotation slightly shifts when fighting actual champions, we have two ways to help engaging, our Cannon E gives us a speed boost, and swapping forms as well as our Hammer Q lets us close distance, but be aware that the swap has a few second cooldown that can hamper us if we're not careful to get our maximum burst damage output, and using our Hammer E can actually hamper our damage if we're not ready to swap to Cannon since it creates space. Also try to keep in mind that when in Hammer form we have extra Armor and MR based on AD.
Lastly, don't forget we are playing like an Assassin, don't get into needless fights you don't know if you can win, and try to always take advantages of situations to sneak a takedown in and save a teammate or pick off a low health enemy, then try to slip out, for that reason, we are bringing a lot of MS and Galeforce.
