Challanger Guide for Wukong toplane in s13



You are taking flash and ignite in like 80% of the games, but those 20% where you will take teleport are the games where you have mathchup that you have no kill potential such as Malphite,Gragas,Ornn,Maokai... I advise you to start Dshield almost every game if you are playing into someone of your own skill level, only time i would take Dblade is into rly easy matchups or on a smurf. Runes 99% of the games stay same. I'am banning jax almost every game but if I would ban something else it would be Gragas,Malphite or Riven but thats only cuz I hate Riven in high elo, she is actually not too bad matchup. Wukong plays rly well into any bruiser such as Irelia,Riven,Yone... and some juggernauts such as Darius,Garen,Nasus... In laning phase you are just looking for trades with your q and waiting your ult to all in, you should fight without your ult only if your opponent is making a mistake or you are too far ahead. Later in the game you should look for teamfights and flanks with your r and try to oneshot their backline, tho you are rly good at killing people you can use your ult as rly good peeling tool for your team if they are humans.

This items is what you will be buying first every game and its most important part of the build. If you can utilize sheen proc on this item perfectly you will win every 1v1 on toplane. Damage and healing your sheen procs gives you make this item best choice for mythic on Wukong.

Black Cleaver

You can never go wrong with this item but I will only build it second if I'am playing against someone who has a lot of armor. If that is not the case I will leave it for later to come in the build.

Maw of Malmortius

Best choice against a lot of magic dmg.

Death's Dance

Build it every game unless enemy team has 0 physical dmg.

Gragas

Champion

I would be carefull about this fat fak cuz he has everything he needs to counte Wukong, he does magic dmg and he has ability to engage and disengage whenever he wants. Also he is a tank and that means you can't just all in himand burst him.

Nasus

Champion

Rly easy matchup first few levels after that if you didn't kill him couple of times he will just get stacks and aromor and you are done.
