Runes

  • Conqueror


I think right now because

Lillia
was made melee range that there isn't a reason to take anything besides
Conqueror
as you can stack it up way too fast and as a champion you really, REALLY like healing.
Presence of Mind
is good as it solves all of your mana issues, but in the jungle it could even be worth taking
Triumph
because your jungle pet will give you the mana regen you need. Still I do think
Presence of Mind
is just better late game.
Legend: Tenacity
just because you can't really utilise the other ones and
Last Stand
stand because you wont make use of
Cut Down
as you build way too much hp and
Coup de Grace
just feels... worse. Secondary runes you wanna take
Celerity
and
Waterwalking
for more speed and combat power because you want to kite as much as possible.

Skill order is determined from game to game by looking at the map. If you are free to full clear your jungle you will level up q, w, q but if you are afraid of getting invaded take e at level 3 for the safety the slow provides ;it doesnt slow clear that much;. Both orders will be done full clearing around 3.15, 3.25.

Items and build path

  • Early items

Starter items depend on the game. You will go

Mosstomper Seedling
almost every single game almost, as it is just the best by far. You can take
Gustwalker Hatchling
as it's also decent but i wouldn't reccomend it. Same thing with
Scorchclaw Pup
but this one is just genuinely useless.

First base you should look for a

Boots
and
Dark Seal
base but if you are ahead you can build straight into your first item of choice.

Damage Build

The damage build utilises the innate synergy between

Liandry's Anguish
and
Demonic Embrace
, these items also pair really nicely with
Dream-Laden Bough
. The rest of the items index into straight damage ie.
Void Staff
and
Rabadon's Deathcap
and
Cosmic Drive
indexes into ability haste and speed and a bit of hp. This build is also the fastest due to the huge AP numbers you will have and the scaling of Prance on
Blooming Blows
. Look to get in and get out with this build as you are very squishy.

Bruiser Build

The bruiser build is probabbly the best build in the hyper late game because of

Rod of Ages
which scales way too well off of levels and gives literally everything that
Lillia
wants (healing, ability haste, ap, hp and mana). Again
Demonic Embrace
is just too good and the rest of the items pair well with it.
Cosmic Drive
,
Dead Man's Plate
,
Force of Nature
,
Rylai's Crystal Scepter
all give a lot of hp and speed.
Dead Man's Plate
and
Force of Nature
also give resistances which is very nice. So again this build kites very well but tries to stay in the fights for longer.

Tank Build

The tank build prioritises HP and resistances over damage or effects. Again you have the same items like

Demonic Embrace
,
Cosmic Drive
,
Rylai's Crystal Scepter
,
Dead Man's Plate
,
Force of Nature
but you can also build for example
Frozen Heart
and a lot of items not mentioned. The others you can build are all very situational though. They are
Anathema's Chains
,
Gargoyle Stoneplate
,
Abyssal Mask
or even the now non mythic items in
Sunfire Aegis
or
Turbo Chemtank
but I wouldn't reccomend the last two. Also this build takes in a new mythic item
Jak'Sho, The Protean
which is genuinely just way too broken so abuse it while it lasts. Insane resistances and gives good HP and even heals you due to it's suck thing?

Situational Items

The situational items can be put in any build and they just depend on the game. Some of my favourite situational items are:

Zhonya's Hourglass
,
Morellonomicon
,
Fimbulwinter
and
Seraph's Embrace
. They all have their nieche uses and just pick them up whenever you feel they are needed.

Early pathing and ganking

Lillia is a very fast clear and in most games you want to start on red (If you have a leash) path to krugs then raptors into wolves (smite the big wolf) gromp and blue (once grmop is at about half hp walk to blue auto it and stand at the edge of their range to double camp). This is your standard path that you should go every game but you should change your path depending on your lane states from game to game.

Lillia is deceptively strong in the early game. You can win most 1v1 fights in the early game. Depending on the matchup you should look for early fights but focus on full clearing as Lillia scales really well. Focus objectives after full clear but if your lanes are pushing you should leave your clear almost always for the free objective. Only continue clearing if you are about to hit big level spikes like 6, 9, 11, 16.

Powerspikes and matchups

Bad matchups

Lillia is really weak against assasin champions. If you want to make her work you have to ban out assasins like khazix, zed, qiyana. The assasins tend to absolutely blast lillia as she has no peel until level 6 and even then its unreliable as it takes 2 seconds or more to cast and is relying on you hitting an ability before getting 1shot.

Good matchups

Lillia is quite strong against bruisers and tanks such as xin zhao, viego, nunu, skarner, lee sin and so on. She is especially good against champs like nunu as he has no way of catching you if he doesnt land his first ability. These matchups are really easy as long as you kite well.

Neutral matchups

There arent many neutral matchups but the key ones are evelynn, hecarim and trundle. The evelynn matchup is a farm festt until 6. At 6 evelynn will lose most scenarios but as the game goes on and she gets more levels she becomes a bigger threat. Use lillias e to facecheck brushes and make sure to build zhonya here. Against hecarim be mindfull of cheese as he is just a better lillia before level 9. His plan is to win in the early game so dont give him places to gank. Make sure you countergank him to keep him down. As for trundle fight him ONLY AND ONLY when he uses pillar on someone else. He always wins if he gets to you but thats IF he does.
