Intro
My name is Exiled Heretic, and I am a Challenger Diana main from NA currently trying new builds, and updating as I go! I have over 3 Million Mastery on Diana. Peak rank was #6 on the Ranked Solo/Duo ladder and 890lp! I have been playing League since season 2. I have been Rank 1 Diana according to multiple sites and, I am currently Rank 1 on OP.GG NA
Runes Pages
My main rune page is more defensive. Taking advantage of shield bash is a good idea for burst matchups that you can't survive/trade well against without some extra defensive stats. Relentless Hunter is great for a roam heavy playstyle as well! This is a solid all around rune page for most matchups. The other runes are good as well, but I think they should be used for specific scenarios where you know it's better for the matchup. However, that is my opinion, and I would test your playstyle with the other rune pages and see what works best for you!

Summoner Spells
Ignite is for most matchups that you need to have the lane pressure or can easily get your advantage in lane! Just remember without teleport it makes you more of a target! Teleport is nerfed so only take it into matchups that you have no chance of killing the enemy laner.
Skill Path
Max Q on Diana. It's the skill path with the most damage and has the been the best path for years.

Diana
Build Path
I've included both my Mid lane and Jungle build paths. Try to build for the game, and make sure you focus the right target. Diana is almost a 1-for-1 champion when behind, so make sure you make your combo in fights count. Diana's R is a good grouping tool to stack the enemies on top of each other if they clump, so make sure to only dive if your team is in a position and has the resources to respond. Diana isn't the strongest before she gets some items, so try not to take extended fights. Diana's cooldowns and damage aren't great early. Once you get a Hextech Alternator, Blasting Wand, or Sorcerer's Shoes, you can try to get your kills.

Complete Matchup Guide (Mid)
Diana is a mid-game champion who thrives off of positioning errors and catching people off guard. During late game, you are not the greatest in team fights, but you have a good AOE ult and a shield. You also shred towers and all objectives quickly. Plus, you are a huge threat to anyone without resistances.
I recommend you try to get a flank on a fight or draw pressure because in a 5v5 you are fairly easy to lock down and exhaust. Due to exhaust being a very common summoner spell on adc's, it makes it tough to go in first.
Same range as you so make sure you trade q's with her and try to out sustain, if you go in while her stun was just used or she has not stacks, that is your best case.
Ahri is Hard, Make sure you safely farm with Q and play for mid game items and ganks, You can't face tank her charm or you will probably die and get kited, you can attempt Cleanse but lowers your all in damage potential, be aware of that.
Poke Hard with Q and try not to all in with shroud up as she can weave in and out and you can't deal your damage. Trade hard levels 1-2 , in mid to late game Hourglass the second part of E or R, E is easier to predict
Play lane Passive and poke his bone plating, if he takes a lot of Q's you can look to all in but do not trade your HP for minions early he will poke you out of lane, do not shove your lane with Q's and get it frozen, E to him to stop his Swing for all in plays.
Poke level 1 and avoid the Q stun she has, try to bait it before you go in, Bait her R before you R to cancel it and put it on cooldown, Flash the Anivia Q to win the fight if necessary.
Your E goes thru his R so try to save a charge, also try to take some lane sustain and pray for some reprieve, you can also try to out push and roam early.
Cass W and R are difficult but you can try to play around them, make sure you turn when she ulted or dash behind her, also you can usually tell when she is going to W so try to really watch out when you are in her range.
If Corki allows you to land Q's you can go in almost every Q or else you will take a lot of poke! Make sure to know where their jungler is and try to avoid his harass with Rockets and play around his potential Exhaust
Ekko has decent wave clear and can trade against you well, you can go for Poke with Q before he gets his W stuns off in lane, when he goes in for trades, do not let him get them off for free, make sure to trade back with your combo!
Fizz is really tough, Bone Plating is a MUST but do not take aggressive trades on his side of the lane post 6, he can land his R almost for free and your only dodge for it is ulting a minion or flash
You win short trades and Long trades but he can out poke you, make sure if he is going in to not be extended, he usually wont go in unless he has his jungler with him, early Pen boots are very good.
This fat sack of I mean Gragas is really tough and is a good counter to your combo he can cancel your dash and deal just as much damage as you in a burst combo, you lose the resource war and he is tanky, best bet would be focusing the bot lane and trying to roam, laning here is pretty much null.
Playing around your minions is a great because its the easiest way for her to get stacks, avoid stun and try to E her R and you can win for sure, when her Q goes on cooldown if she doesn't get a kill or have a mark you can take aggressive trades.
Kassadin is really weird but he can be beat, if he gets an early lead or scales to mid game you will have some trouble, ask your team to pick some hard cc and try to follow up on it, Early Pen is good here also early trades when he uses abilities on minions.
Kat is a solid full damage matchup, bone plating is good because it stops her electrocute trades but most Katarina players take conqueror so try to go for short electro trades those are favorable, make sure you track her roams or she will get your side laners and snowball.
This matchup feels awful and she scales like crazy, try to get some early help shoving her under tower doesn't really help Kayle on paper would be great but you just need ganks with some cc to touch her.
Avoid his free Q poke it is blocked by minions but is on a low cooldown and a decent chunk of damage. His ult gives him armor and MR so take that into account when you all in him.
skill match-up but slightly Leblanc favored, tough matchup if she plays it well, try to dodge the chain , she will hit the second for free. make sure you trade with her when she uses her dash on top of you. take biscuits or some sort of mana sustain into her, it will help you a lot more than Defensive tree.
Lots of lock down so make sure you don't engage first and try to make her use it on someone else, or you have an hourglass to force her to ult herself with your full combo, Phase Rush or Electrocute feel good into this depending on the skill of the Lissandra. When you trade, you have to think of what trades are favorable for you. The trading patterns will be different for all champions. For example, Lissandra has a great Electrocute trade with her combo if you engage. She will get her whole combo off on you and space you with a lower cooldown Q. This makes her not able to be all in'd without prior poke and proper trading. In this case, make sure you abuse your Q range, and the fact Lissandra Q needs to hit a minion to get max range. You can also bait her W if you play with the ranges well enough, so try to bait her if you get good enough at spacing. Also, make sure you take Teleport here to sustain the poke, and avoid her flash-ult all in with jungler. It's important in a lot of matchups to know the range/spacing in which you will survive.
Lucian is a very tough lane, make sure you play safe and only get the farm that's easy, Lucian will bully you all of laning but if he is eating your q's you can all in him easily, just make sure you can kill him if you go in or else he will punish you very hard.
Lux is very safe and will play very far back and just wave clear if she doesn't take a defensive sum you can kill her but try to dodge the root or else it will make it difficult, try to surprise her mid game for easy kills Cleanse is a possible option
Simple mage with a lock down ult at 6, you can bully him in lane with simple runes and masteries, try to ult a few seconds after you go in to try to bait his r, since you can cancel his ult channel in you time it right, he has to walk up to space aids the minions so you can get free poke off!
Orianna is a lane bully and will poke you a ton, try to get a little poke off and all in her to gain an edge, it may be tough but its possible seems like a good electrocute, phase rush, first strike, game depending on what you prefer, try to accelerate the game.
Diana is pretty good into Qiyana given her short range and Diana having a shield. Make sure you oppress her early levels 1-3 and try to kill her at 6 or before given opportunity.
This match-up is definitely early game for us, so make sure to look to kill him early or out roam him for maximum impact on the map.
Every Sylas player will start level 1 and try to go in with chains, so try to dodge Sylas E/2 and you can win, early heal cut is good here and or ignite.
Skill Match-up. If you can flash her stun/Push you can kill her but if she lands it she can kill you. play slow early, she will spam her Q in lane, look for your opportunity.
Talon can easily trade with you, he will land the first part of his W on you almost every time. This would be when you max W and play back until he uses ult. He will roam a lot so make sure you try to track it and call it for your team.
You should take teleport. You can keep up with his roams with it. He has his gold card which makes you vulnerable to gank's and usually rushes movement speed making him a permanent roam champion, try to abuse him early and poke him down when he goes to farm.
Cage is your worst enemy, he can set up ganks on you very easy, and cleanse might not be enough to save you, I would try to wait for him to use his cage and then go in for the kill, can dash before the cage is up so try to explode on him.
Vex is a strong laner and can sustain your poke well, play around her fear and all in at 6 with ignite and you can kill her, just beware roams and her jungler. Focus on dodging her abilities as it is all her damage.
Viktor will try to trade waves with you and stall till mid to late game while poking with his laser. Roam and play around your jungler so you can start a snowball and gain a lead, if that does not work you can try to set the wave up for your jungler to gank.
Vlad has a small range giving you easy q's but he has a lot of sustain and you don't have a lot of mana so try to all in him early, Vlad has a very weak burst all in combo early, until about first item or around level 9 when he spikes.
Yasuo is easy if you focus on controlling the wave and he doesn't wind wall your Q. Try to kill him early, he will trade with you just wait until you have first pack or enough damage for it, he is slippery so make sure you land your Q before anything.
Yone has no costs and can pretty much permanently pressure you. make sure you poke as much as possible and try to dodge the W so he doesn't have his shield. Another match-up that is reliant on first kill. If you can ever get to where he E's from you can full combo him, just beware his R can lock you up so beware under towers or in team fights. Yone has no costs and a short range. You will be able to poke him, but he has light sustain so it won't be as effective. Try to make all your Q's count by last hitting farm and poking at the same time. Also, make sure if you are all inning him to dodge his W shield as this will be the factor that decides the trade.
Zed will always go in on you so you can easily play back, try not to eat many EWQ combo's or you will get all in killed. You might need to rush hourglass second if you can't beat him or stay in lane without dying. He will take ignite giving him more kill pressure. Respect his all in but also try to ult him when he lands out of his ult and follow him if he goes to his shadow.
Zoe is very hard given the sustain she gets from corrupting potion and her harass from passive and Q. Beware of her bubble and try to take cleanse to actually kill her in lane, it may feel bad but you have to trust the tech, or if she is a bad Zoe you can take ignite and easily get the all in one shot if she uses her R to poke or misses E.
Xerath is a great poke champion so try to dodge as much as you can, I suggest early boots and some sustain, look to all in him with QE to minion into E all in or just flash on him if his flash is down.
Exhaust is your worst enemy, try to use your combo when their exhaust is down or try to have them burn it on someone else.
Diana has a few in-depth combos which are rewarding and worth learning. I will make a YouTube video soon with as much examples as I can. Flash into R is very good since it gives the enemy little to no time to react, and it is a very easy combo to hit.
The triple E combo is a timing trick with Diana's Q and E. Try to E someone your Q is going to hit before it hits, and then, you have yourself a triple e. However, your E isn't a really great damage tool, so it isn't that useful.
E-Q is a good combo that is very high skill cap and not very reliable, but flashy to pull off. You need to make sure the enemy is running and at max E range, then you cast your E and mid E, or right after your E starts casting, you can Q and get your reset almost guaranteed.
