Contest [12.3] Winners!
Thank you to everyone who participated! Our Patch 12.3 Contest received over 200 submissions in that week. OnlyGuides is still in beta, but we’re actively working on improving it to be the best place to read and write the knowledge you have to share.
Also, a special thanks to everyone who submitted guides. We learned so much--not just from your League knowledge--but also from your creator feedback on how we can improve the site.
Remember, we’re holding three more contests during Patches 12.4, 12.5, and 12.6! Those who did not receive prize money this time around are welcome to improve their guide and re-submit, provided the guide is up-to-date with the newest patch.
That’s up to $18,000 across up to 144 prizes in the next six weeks. As of this announcement, the submission period for the Patch 12.4 Contest is Live.
Without further ado, below are our Patch 12.3 Contest winners in each of our six categories (Top, Jungle, Mid, ADC, Support, and Off Meta), as well as our judging criteria for them.
Judging Criteria:
Breadth Breadth refers to the diversity of topics covered. Guides which cover it all--builds, explanations, matchups, combos, macro, decision-making, and more--scored high on Breadth.
Depth Depth refers to how thorough a guide's individual sections are. As an example, matchup depth includes both the quality of the matchup tips + the number of matchups themselves.
Design We're strong believers in OnlyGuides' clean read view and flexible edit mode. Guides with high Design scores took advantage of the many available design choices, as well as a clean and easy-to-read experience, benefiting readers at the end of the day.

Resubmitting guides for 12.4 contest
Regarding Honorable Mentions and Re-Submitting
Honorable mentions were often given out to guides which did well in two of our judging criteria but fell short of the third. Sometimes the information was great but readability was an issue, or sometimes sections were missing that we believe are crucial to a champion guide (such as matchups).
We saw a lot of great guides across every category. Many guides had so many redeeming qualities but ultimately fell short in categories we believed were important. Those who did not receive prize money this time around are welcome to improve their guide and re-submit, provided the guide is up-to-date with the newest patch. We are extending this option to guides which received Honorable Mentions as well, but not 1st-3rd Place guides.
