Great example of the build versus one of the strongest tanks into tryndamere - Sejuani.
Take these runes every game. Do not overthink it. Crowd control is one of the main counterplays to tryndamere so we need the tenacity to overcome it. Second Wind is complimentary with your innate sustain and works well on your champion due to your low auto range. Every champ in the game outranges you and can poke you.
- Against Low CC
Max E before your 2nd point in ulti. Leveling 2nd R only reduces the cooldown and increases how much rage you generate when you press R which isn't useful. Level R at 13 for CD reduction because you're now in the mid game so playing for teamfighting and playing for objectives is more important. Level R at 16 because hopefully you have navori by now to help with your W CD so it isn't as important to max out before R.
Always buy d shield because it works very well with second wind.
If you aren't Master+ ignore this line (not an elitist just if you are any lower than this elo the chances the enemy makes a mistake is high so there's no point in delaying your build for cull).
This is for games where you believe not a lot of action will happen. If you farm 3 waves and are able to crash it into the enemy tower with perfect CS you should have around 500G which is perfect to recall and buy. This is for when there is no play you can make to impact the game.
Some examples of when to NOT do the above:
- you have dive potential on the enemy top laner because they are low after trading and you have a strong ganking jg (elise jg, taliyah jg, etc.)
- you have kill pressure on enemy jg when he returns to farm either krugs or gromp around 4:10
- enemy jg is pathing towards you (go invade his jg and take over the game)
- you don't respect your opponent and believe they will make a mistake
If any of the above are true then delay your back until 1200-1500g.
Most of the time I like going serkers because it is a huge spike for tryndamere and can often snowball into a kill; however, into certain matchups tiamat first is much better (Ornn, Sejuani, Shen) to name a few. Boots excels versus ranged matchups to help close the gap.
Ravenous: Try to finish Ravenous to get the AH and start stacking AD.
PD: If my team is behind I like to finish PD insead of finishing Ravenous and focus on split pushing and conceding objectives. You should communicate this to your team. Hopefully you trade a T2 tower for dragon which should propel you into a Ravenous that you can stack before the next objective and eventually building into galeforce for teamfighting.
Galeforce: If you want to snowball, then you should buy galeforce. This mythic is one of the best to create and maintain a lead. BE AWARE, if you buy galeforce and get shut down or grief even one play then that allows the enemy a window to buy armor. Armor significantly lowers your chance of carrying the game. So don't mess up.
Navori: Helps you stick to people. Remember when you crit it also lowers cooldowns for Q and W so make sure you are using those regularly as well in teamfights.
I have been having a lot of success with Seryldas. I would sell boots for Mortal reminder. This is the default 6 item build.
Some other items I suggest are stopwatch (can literally be gamewinning when used properly) into GA if you are against assassins that won't let you R in time. QSS for hard CC into merc scim. (please dont buy silver dawn you have unflinching).
