Why this guide?

Well I looked at every

Camille
guide on this site and saw that every guide wasn't even a guide. Just a quick guide. If there was a good
Camille
guide on this site I wouldn't be even making one but here I am.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Pros & Cons

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Pros:

High mobility

One of the best split-pushers

High carry potential

Tank shredder

Amazing early and late game

Cons:

Hard to learn

Squishy early to mid game

Needs help in some match-ups to get a lead

Underwhelming when behind

Only a few skins

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Abilities

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Passive

Adaptive Defenses

Cooldown: 20/15/10 (at levels 1/7/13)

Basic attacks on champions grant a shield equal to 20% of

Camille
's maximum health against their damage type (Physical or Magic) for 1.5-2.5 seconds.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Q ability

Precision Protocol

Cooldown: 9/8.25/7.5/6.75/6

Cost: 25 mana

Range: 325

Camille's next basic attack deals 20/25/30/35/40 bonus physical damage and increases her movement speed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 1 second. This ability can be recast in the next 3.5 seconds at no cost.

If the second

Precision Protocol
attack hits at least 1.5 seconds after the first, the bonus damage is increased by 100% to 40/50/60/70/80 and 40 - 100% (based on level) of the attack is converted into true damage.

Precision Protocol cannot critically strike.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

W ability

Tactical Sweep

Cooldown: 17/15.5/14/12.5/11

Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 mana

Range: 610

Camille winds up and then slices in a direction, dealing 70/100/130/160/190 (60% AD) physical damage to enemies hit.

Enemies hit by the outer half are slowed by 80%, decaying over 2 seconds. They take extra physical damage equal to 5/5.5/6/6.5/7% (+2.5% per 100 bonus attack damage) of their maximum health, and Camille heals for 100% of the bonus damage dealt to champions.

Tactical Sweep does 50% less damage to non-epic monsters.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

E ability

Hookshot

Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12

Cost: 70 mana

Range: 800

First Cast: Fire a hookshot that attaches to terrain, pulling

Camille
to it and allowing
Hookshot
to be recast for 1 second.

Second Cast:

Camille
leaps from the wall, colliding with the first enemy champion hit. Upon landing, she deals 60/95/130/165/200 (90% AD) physical damage and a 0.75 second stun to nearby enemy champions. Dashes towards enemy champions travel twice as far and grant 40/45/50/55/60% attack speed for 5 seconds on impact.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

R ability (Ultimate)

The Hextech Ultimatum

Cooldown: 140/115/90

Cost: 100 mana

Range: 475

Camille
briefly becomes untargetable and leaps onto an enemy champion, interrupting channels and locking them into an area they cannot escape by any means for 2.5/3.25/4 seconds. Other nearby enemies are knocked away. Her basic attacks against the trapped enemy deal bonus magic damage equal to 5/10/15 plus 4/6/8% of their current health.

The Hextech Ultimatum ends if Camille leaves the area.

Overgrowth
,

Unflinching

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Secondary Path

Inspiration

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Magical Footwear

Biscuit Delivery

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Explanation (Resolve)

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Grasp of the Undying
can help
Camille
win short trades by dealing more damage on your initial auto attack while healing herself for a small amount.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Shield Bash
adds damage to your auto attack when
Camille
's passive
Adaptive Defenses
is available which helps with short trades as well.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

You can then choose from

Conditioning
,
Second Wind
or
Bone Plating
depending on what you need.

Conditioning
scales the hardest out of these three runes. If you are confident you will win the early game, you can run this rune.

Second Wind
can be useful in a poke-heavy matchup where you will be taking a lot of small trades.

Bone Plating
is very useful in matchups where the enemy champion has to all-in you instead of taking short trades.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Last in the

Resolve
tree, you can choose from
Overgrowth
,
Revitalize
, and
Unflinching
depending on what you need.

Overgrowth
helps you not get one shot as it gives you more HP.

Revitalize
increases your shielding on
Camille
's passive
Adaptive Defenses
and increases healing from
Ravenous Hydra
and other healing sources.

Unflinching
can be useful if the enemy team has a lot of hard CC that you can't dodge with your ultimate
The Hextech Ultimatum
.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Explanation (Inspiration) _____________________________________________________________________________________________

Many of the secondary rune options synergize well with

Camille
, but a lot of high ranked
Camille
players like to take
Magical Footwear
and
Biscuit Delivery
because
Magical Footwear
essentially gives you a free 300 gold. In addition, having extra health and mana from
Biscuit Delivery
helps you get through the tough matchups that require the
Grasp of the Undying
rune page.

Last Stand

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Secondary Path

Resolve

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Shield Bash

Bone Plating

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Explanation (Precision)

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Press the Attack
gives you burst in lane and helps with longer trades or all-ins. It's best against squishy champions. (Ex.: Gangplank, Jayce, Teemo, etc...)

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Conqueror
is the strongest rune for
Camille
's late game and teamfighting. It's also great for longer trades or all-in's.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Triumph
helps you make tower dives and go for plays that wouldn't work without the health rebate.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

You can choose between

Legend: Alacrity
and
Legend: Tenacity
depending on the match-up.

Legend: Alacrity
is the best decision as it gives attack speed, making your trades and all-in's stronger and faster.

Legend: Tenacity
is more suitable for heavy CC match-ups or teams. (Ex.: Dr. Mundo, Morgana, Amumu, etc...)

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Last Stand
helps
Camille
's dueling and close 1v1s.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Explanation (Resolve)

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Shield Bash
adds damage to your auto attack when
Camille
's passive
Adaptive Defenses
is available which helps with short trades.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Bone Plating
is very useful in matchups where the enemy champion has to all-in you instead of taking short trades.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Summoner Spells

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Choices:

Teleport

Ignite

Flash

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Teleport

Camille
is one of the best split-pushers in the game. She can destroy turrets in seconds late game with her Q
Precision Protocol
.
Teleport
is a must on her not only because of her split-pushing, but also her scaling. She is at her strongest late game as she can deal over 1k TRUE DAMAGE with her Q2
Precision Protocol
if you're full build. You can also join your team in teamfights as she has pretty good teamfighting.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Ignite

Ignite
should be your go-to summoner spell after
Teleport
for it allows
Camille
to have kill pressure and turn certain matchups in her favor. It also helps for diving turrets. It is NOT NECESSARY IN ANY MATCHUP to take
Ignite
over
Flash
, however, in certain hard matchups where you want to reduce their healing and/or win an all-in,
Ignite
will definitely help.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Walldive = Camille's second part of her E

Flash

Flash
should be your go-to summoner spell if you feel you don't need the kill pressure from
Ignite
.
Camille
is the most mobile champion top lane so
Flash
isn't needed every game. With
Flash
, you can escape from ganks, set up ganks, survive tower dives, teamfight better, and also catch people off guard with
Hookshot
/ Wall Dive into
Flash
or flashing before using the second part of
Camille
's
Hookshot
Wall Dive. Use
Hookshot
before
Flash
in the majority of situations as it is more guaranteed to hit. Flashing before using Wall Dive can be used to gain more distance, or if someone is right next to the wall where
Camille
is jumping from she can
Flash
pass them then
Hookshot
towards a priority target. Overall
Flash
scales better than
Ignite
.
Ignite
is more for the laning phase and early game.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Flash Combos

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Flash

(For more distance)

If you need more distance to kill your enemy

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

E

Hookshot
->
Flash

Can catch enemies off guard

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Items

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Starting Items:

Doran's Blade

Doran's Shield

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Doran's Blade
is your go-to starting item. It gives 8 attack damage (Plus 5.4 AD From Adaptive Force) and 80 health with some omnivamp. You don't have too many options so
Doran's Blade
is just the best.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Doran's Shield
is best in ranged or heavy poke match-ups (Ex.: Dr. Mundo, Jayce, Teemo). It gives 80 health and a lot of healing from the passive "Endure". Because you're taking
Doran's Shield
into ranged match-ups, it heals even more which makes a great pair with
Second Wind
.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Boots:

Plated Steelcaps

Mercury's Treads

Ionian Boots of Lucidity

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Plated Steelcaps
is the best against AD or Fed AS champions. It gives 20 Armor and 45 Move Speed and reduces incoming damage from attacks by 12%.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Mercury's Treads
is good against AP or Heavy CC champions. It gives 25 Magic Resist, 45 Move Speed, and 30% Tenacity.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Ionian Boots of Lucidity
is more of a greed item when you're snowballing or the enemy team just has mixed damage. It gives 20 Ability Haste, 45 Movespeed, and 12 Summoner Spell Haste which is good for
Teleport
.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Mythic:

Divine Sunderer

Trinity Force

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Divine Sunderer
has been
Camille
's best item. It gives 40 Attack Damage, 300 Health, and 20 Ability Haste. This has been the best item for her. It gives a lot of healing and on top of that, you get armor and magic penetration making
Divine Sunderer
really good for AP and AD enemy team comps.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Trinity Force
is an alternative choice for
Camille
. It gives 35 Attack Damage, 30% Attack Speed, 300 Health, and 20 Ability Haste. It has everything that
Camille
needs except healing which is really important to her because she needs to be a little bit tankier. It's better against squishy teams. Overall I still think
Divine Sunderer
is so much better.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Core items after mythic:

Ravenous Hydra

Titanic Hydra

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Ravenous Hydra
is better than
Titanic Hydra
as it gives 70 Attack Damage, 20 Ability Haste, and 10% omnivamp. It's also really good as it gives you wave clear because
Camille
's is really bad.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Titanic Hydra
is another option. It's better for 3+ Tanks or Bruisers. It gives 30 Attack Damage and 500 Health. It's not really necessary as you already one shot (not really) tanks late game, but you can still get it if you're in a bad game and desperately need the Health from it so you don't get one shot yourself.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Fourth item options:

Death's Dance

Maw of Malmortius

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Death's Dance
is a good item if you're carrying/snowballing. It gives 55 Attack Damage, 45 Armor, and 15 Ability Haste. This item is broken on
Camille
paired up with
Divine Sunderer
as it heals you a ton.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Maw of Malmortius
is best when there's a Fed AP Enemy Champion. It gives 55 Attack Damage, 50 Magic Resist, and 20 Ability Haste. It's also very good in teamfights as it gives some omnivamp. Paired up with
Ravenous Hydra
you will be healing a lot while still one shotting with your Q2
Precision Protocol
.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Fifth item options:

Chempunk Chainsword

Hullbreaker

Sterak's Gage

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Chempunk Chainsword
is good for anti-healing. It gives 55 Attack Damage, 250 Health and 25 Ability Haste. You can also buy
Executioner's Calling
and finish
Chempunk Chainsword
later into the game.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Hullbreaker
is really good when split-pushing. It gives 50 Attack Damage, 400 Health and 150% Base Health Regen. When your team is fighting you could heal top and split-push while the enemy is distracted. It also gives a lot of health and regen which is really good to still keep yourself alive if an enemy flanks you.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Sterak's Gage
is the best fifth item to get when you want to teamfight more instead of split-push. It only gives 400 Health but a shield when you're low. Sometimes it can save you. It's also really good with your passive
Adaptive Defenses
.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Sixth item choices:

Guardian Angel

Silvermere Dawn

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Guardian Angel
is a good defense item. It's like an AD Zhonya's Hourglass but a bit better. It gives 40 Attack Damage and Armor. It has a 5 minute cooldown but it's a really good item as it restores 50% of your base health and 30% of your mana which can help if you're trying to clutch up at getting a dragon or baron.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

There's not too much to say about

Silvermere Dawn
. It just removes any crowd control debuffs on you. It can help in teamfighting but use it only on longer CC abilities like Ashe's Ultimate
Enchanted Crystal Arrow
, Morgana's long CC chain with everfrost or Leona's E > Q > R. Try to use it as early as possible then try to dodge other CC skill shots and kill them. You could go
Quicksilver Sash
early and then build up
Silvermere Dawn
mid/late game.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Situational (Resistances)

Spirit Visage

Thornmail

Randuin's Omen

Gargoyle Stoneplate

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Spirit Visage
is good when you have 3+ Ocean Drake's or Fed enemy AP Champions. It gives 450 Health, 50 Magic Resist, 10 Ability Haste, and 100% Base Health Regen. It's really good paired up with
Hullbreaker
because it also gives you 150% Base Health Regen.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Thornmail
is another anti-healing item you can use if you want to be more tanky instead of doing the damage. It gives 350 Health and 60 Armor which can be good in some AD Match-ups. Pick between
Thornmail
and
Chempunk Chainsword
. I honestly think
Chempunk Chainsword
because
Camille
is already a really tanky champion.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Randuin's Omen
is a really good item for Fed AD Champions. It gives 250 Health, 90 Armor, and 10 Ability Haste. I honestly think you should always get this against a Tryndamere as he gets free Critical Strike damage. It could even be good in some match-ups where the enemy doesn't build up Critical Strike because it offers a ton of armor.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Gargoyle Stoneplate
is really good for enemy mixed damage and being the engage for your team. It gives 60 Armor and Magic Resist along with Ability Haste. Again if you want to be more tanky instead of doing the damage
Gargoyle Stoneplate
is really good.
