Playstyles

AP Shaco is highly versatile, though requires a heavy focus on Ability Haste in order to shine. This allows Shaco to adjust our build, runes, and even play style better than other supports can. In lane phase your job is brush control with your wards and boxes, as well as using boxes when the enemy jungle is bot side looking for a gank to give you and your adc more time to get to safety. Poke down the enemy with your E's as well until they are low enough that you and your adc can commit to a kill. Look for potential roam timings to help your mid laner or invade with your jungle. Against a passive lane where neither side has heavy kill potential you can opt to take the Invade heavy playstyle and look to counter jungle and gank other lanes for a majority of the early to mid game. Between deep vision, setting their jungle behind, and having extra dragon / rift security with your smite you can create a large advantage for your team. Come mid to late game, in most games your primary focus will be to zone the enemy with your boxes. However against heavy engage or dive comps you will need to more actively peel for your carries by placing defensive boxes near them and be ready to use Everfrost.
