You will learn pathing, Which lanes to prioritize and which Champions to play! Lets Dive right in!
What is pathing?
Pathing (simple put) is clearing your camps in an organized fashion to end up at a lane you want to gank! Maximizing your time in the jungle is everything kill camps for gold then ganking enough so that your camps have respawned by the time you have impacted the map!
Different Types of paths!
To start out there are already paths you can easily follow depending on your champions strengths and weaknesses but to do that we'll have to pick a champ! Depending on the Champ we pick our path will differ, So I will talk about each path as they impact specific champion picks!
Picking a lane to gank!
Figuring out which lane to gank sounds hard but its actually really easy! You'll need to start by looking at your lanes figuring out which has the most gank potential meaning how likely is it that a gank in that lane will work. Ganking something like kayle or teemo wont do you any good as they both lack damage and Crowd Control to follow up on your Crowd Control! Seeing a Leona or Blitzcrank in the bottom lane on your team is a good indication that bottom lane will be easier/Easiest to gank! Opposite that if you see your bottom lane is Soraka and Ezreal most likely you wont be able to gank there as there is no follow up to your CC! If top lane has a Gragas that will provide a pretty decent follow up to your CC as Gragas has a stun and slow! There you have it you just recognized which lanes you need to gank!
Picking a Tank Jungler!
If you've decided you like tanks here is the path I recommend for you!
Once you know that you know which lane you want to gank and you will path accordingly, Starting at the buff opposite the lane you'd like to gank! As a tank you'll need all 3 of your abilities to be impactful as the base damage of your abilities wont be to high! Clearing the entire side of the Jungle you start on will be crucial in hitting your Level 3 power spike. Now as a tank you have options here as you move between camps look around see which lanes are pushing in or getting pushed in and change your pathing accordingly! If you sudden see you Leblanc is being pushed under tower by the enemy lux you may be able to gank earlier than expected and will all 3 of your abilities gained you should be able to at the very least get a flash! It is important as a tank Jungler to look for these opportunities when enemies are positioned poorly as youll be able to clear fast after you get your Bami cinder! A champ this is displayed very well on is Nunu & Willump lets talk about them real quick!

Nunu is one of the best and easiest champions to practice jungle with! He is a tank that roles the biggest snow ball ever and crashes it into the enemy team knocking them up. Then using this smaller snow balls on his E to slow and root the people hes just knocked up! Then using his massive AOE slowing ulty to do a bit of damage and create a zone people really dont want to step into! If you like tanks or are just new to the game this is the guy for you!
This is nunu's fast clearing ability it does true damage to jungle camps allowing him to clear the jungle fast and healthy as he restores health after consuming a camp!
This is your ganking tool it will take some getting use to but, after you get the hang of it you'll be rolling over your opponents!
This is the follow up ability you will use when ganking, after knocking a champ up with your snow ball use this to keep them slowed and then if they are in the circle around you after hitting them youll root them in place!
This ability is for mainly team fighting but can be used during ganks to really continue to lock down the enemies after you have rooted them with your snowball Barrage! It is a massive AOE slow that will do a lot of damage if fully channeled most of the time tho it will be interrupted by an enemy but, it still is a great AOE slow!

This will be the Item you'll want to get on your First back it will help you clear faster while also damaging enemies who are very close to you!
Next up is boots you wont always need Steel Caps Mercury Treads are also a viable boot, it really depends on how much AP or AD the enemy has then buying accordingly.

This is Nunu's mythic it burns everyone around him burning even more if hes being hit a lot! This item gives you Magic Resist, Armor, Ability Haste and Health key components of any good tank!
This is another key Item for Nunu as it will not only provide him with those great tank stats but, it will allow you to travel faster smashing your enemies with your massive snowball!

Picking an Assassin Jungler!
So you want to do damage carry games and basically own the enemies?
Look no further than assassins, same as before you'll really need to identify which lanes have Crowd Control as most assassins have soft cc and will need help locking down their target for a quick kill! As an Assassin you'll want to influence the lanes as much as you can as effectively as you can. This mean ganking lanes where kills are very much guaranteed again something like blitzcrank will help you secure those kills.
Now you wont be following the same path as tank junglers for assassins we want to get to the lane we want to gank first, tank junglers want to maximize clearing jungle camps and ganking while assassins will want to get kills and get ahead as early as possible the way we do that is simple.
Chosing to start away from bot and path down so that way your Blitzcrank can assist you on getting kills is how you'll want to start. You'll grab the buff opposite your bottom lane if this is blue buff then you'll grab gromp and head right over to red, you'll be level 3 and able to gank whichever lane you want that is near by! If the buff youre starting is red you'll do the same thing but inverse it so Red into Blue into Gromp. A great example of an Assassin Jungler is Kha'zix he is one of my favorites recently and is easy to learn lets talk about him!

Kha's W is some spikes that will heal you if they hit there target and youre very close by as well as his E is a very fun jump ability that can be reset!
Kha'zix passive is one of the most important things about him, when a target is alone meaning no minions, Towers, or allies are around them Kha's main damage ability Q will do more than double damage to the target this makes him such a great assassin as he does a lot of damage without this but with it you will easily two shot your enemies!
This is Kha's ultimate it is extremely useful for two reasons
It allows him to go stealth for a short period of time allowing you to really jumpscare your enemies and get the suprise attack on them!
It gives you the chance to evolve your abilities into a better version of them
The order I prefer to Evolve my abilities is as follows :
My W when isolated with the evolved W will instead of 1 line of spikes it will shoot 3 slowing anyone hit by 60% for 2 seconds! If the target is isolated it will instead slow for 90% this makes your ganks much more potent and allows you to catch up and/or slow down targets who may have gotten away without this evolution!
This is a situational evolution and is between evolving your R or your E, the choice is really up to how much Crowd Control the enemies have if they have to much you may not get your evolved leap off in time to get out, if this is the case then Evolving your R will be better! Evolving your R will let you be stealthed for longer and give you an additional cast allowing you to stealth 3 times! This can be great for slipping past enemy front line right into the carries and then stealthing out again!
Which ever you did not chose at level 11 will be your Evolve at level 16
If you Evolve is ability is will make it so your Jump goes farther and if you get an assist or kill (a takedown) it will reset allowing you to jump again this can be very crucial for picking off squishy targets than getting out!
DO NOT EVOLVE THIS I CANT STRESS THIS, THERE IS A REASON THIS IS IN ALL CAPS. The other evolves provide such utility and damage evolving your Q only gives it more range (50 units which is a little more than the size of teemo) and puts it on a lower CD it the target is isolated which wont always be the case as well as if they are already isolated you shouldnt need more than Two Qs to kills them!
This Item is a must buy in almost every game as Kha his passive allows him to do extra damage on his first auto attack is he has not been seen or if the enemy loses sight of him. On a Takedown this item stealths you and this will allow for more overall damage output!
Next up is Ghost blade This item not only provides the damage and lethality Assassins love but, also give them move speed on its passive while out of combat but, also gives more movement speed when activated. These are Kha's two most key items!

Farming Junglers!
We are farmers bum buh dum bum bum bum bum.
Farming junglers are a more specific type of jungler we'll go over here.
There isnt much of an explanation needed on what these guys do. They farm their jungle and do it over and over and over again! The reason they do is that they are stronger with more items and while kills would get them gold faster it isn't a consistent source of income so instead they look to farm their jungle as best they can! They are not as popular as the previous two types of junglers as they do not gank a lot and thats pretty much the opposite of what you want to do as a jungler but the mid to late game pay off is quiet large! One of the best examples of a jungler of this type is master yi!

Master Yi is a relatively easy Champion his kit allows him to auto attack for a lot of damage while also dodging abilities thrown at him! Once he get 2 or 3 Items hes able to turn on his ult and slice through the enemy like butter!
This is master yi's gap closer he will hit up to 6 enemies beyond the target of this ability and then appear at the target, and if the target is by themself they take extra damage! This ability is very important as you can use it to dodge incoming Crowd Control affect which would obviously stop you from Auto Attacking!
This ability allows Master Yi to heal for a short time but it mainly is used to negate damage as when in this meditative stance hes reduce damage by 60%! So if you find yourself needing to wait a few seconds on your Q cooldown using this ability to keep the enemies from hurting you will be key!
This ability should be used whenever you're attacking an enemy as it will turn your regular auto attacks in true damage dealing ones! This will increase your damage and incredible amount and allow you to slice through even Malphites rock solid armor!
This is Master yi's ult and it is super important as any take down (kill or assist) will lower Master yi's ability cooldowns by 70% this is where master Yi shines diving in with Alpha strike killing someone and doing it all over again!
